When the National Independent Venue Association brought their annual conference to Milwaukee, they wanted the official poster and merch to reflect all the fun and character the city has to offer.
The design is packed with local flair and musical energy—from the Hoan Bridge to the Bronze Fonz riding a Harley-Davidson. Each drum in the illustration represents a different local venue, all playing in unison to the same rhythm.
Merch sales were a hit, with the artwork featured on an 11x17 poster, black hoodie, and black tee.

I also had the opportunity to design the official poster for NIVA’s Welcome Party presented by Eventim, facilitated by Marauder, at the historic Pabst Theater! It was an amazing kick off party to the NIVA 25 Conference, featuring a conversation with My Morning Jacket’s Jim James and the premier of NIVA’s 5 Year Anniversary video.
